Try something nontraditional to celebrate your birthday this year…
1. Try a Fabulous Cheesecake! In many bakeries you can get a sampler cheesecake with many different flavors placed together in a large round container. This is a winner because it’s such a luxurious treat and everyone gets to pick their favorite kind.
2. Try an Ice Cream Cake! This takes the hassle out of having to dip out ice cream to top on the birthday cake. Ta-daa! It’s already there on your plate!
3. Try a Huge Cookie! These can be cut in small pieces to easily feed a crowd. Just toss out some extra finger foods like chips and salsa and you’re ready for a quick party!
4. Try a Big Pie! Pie can be a treat at any time. Place a nice big dollop of whipped cream on top and you have a winner. Serving whipped cream is so much easier than dipping out ice cream don’t you think?
5. Try a Dessert Pizza! For a nice touch of something warm and inviting, a dessert pizza is easy to make and can be served to please a crowd. While the oven is still warm pop in some pizza rolls or cheese sticks.
6. Try a Box of Donuts! You can find some pretty fancy looking donuts at the bakery. Fancy enough to please even picky kids. With so many yummy flavors to choose from you shouldn’t hear a complaint!
7. Try a Box of Twinkies! Get all the supplies (ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, nuts, fruit toppings) to let kids make their own Twinkie Sundays. Kids will have fun making their own fancy contraption.
